BUTTER CHICKEN

INGREDIENTS
Chicken – ½ kg
Chilli powder – 1 tsp
Curd – 2 tbs
Ginger and garlic paste – 1 tsp.
Salt to taste
Tomato – 6 nos
Onion – 5 nos
Chilli powder – 1 tsp
Ginger – 1 tsp
Garlic – 1 tsp
Garam masala – ½ tsp
Water – ½ cup
Poppy seeds paste – 1 tbs
Cashew nut paste – 1 tbs
Butter – 2 tsp
Cream – ½ cup
METHOD
- Marinate the chicken with the chilli powder ,ginger garlic paste ,lime juice and salt for about half and hour.
- In a tandoori pan cook the chicken pieces until done.
- In a frying pan heat butter and fry onion ,ginger ,garlic , tomato, garam masala and chilli powder and add poppy seeds ,cashew nut paste and water to it.
- When the gravy begins to boil add cooked chicken pieces to it and boil for 2 minutes.serve it with the cream on top.
