BJP pushes country to financial emergency, alleges Congress

The Grand Old Party alleged that the Saffron Party had pushed the country to the state of financial emergency. The Congress claimed that the BJP government had forcefully taken a huge sum of 1.76 lakh crore Indian rupees from the Reserve Bank of India to hide a serious economic slowdown.

According to the Congress party’s opinion, it is the wrong policies of the central government that has continued to the occurrence of the economic slowdown in the country.

This is not the first time the Congress has raised any allegation of this nature. Previously, several times the Congress has raised similar allegations.

The Congress earlier criticised the BJP government’s controversial policies of the demonetisation of the highest denomination banknotes of Rs 500 and Rs 1000 and the introduction of the Goods and Services Tax.

A serious study should be conducted to ascertain what exactly has continued to the slowdown of the country’s economy.

It is important to note here that the entire global economic is in a weak state. An economy like India which is closely connected to the rest of the world is highly vulnerable to the global economic developments. What is happening now in the country’s economy may be the refection of the developments happening in the global economy.
