PM Modi to meet ‘Veteran DMK leader Karunanidhi’ today
Today, the Tamil Nadu political platform is going to witness an unusual meeting, with the Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, and the state’s oldest veteran politician, M Karunanidhi, agreeing to sit together for a pleasant meeting.
Earlier, there were reports that the health condition of the Tamil Nadu former Chief Minister was very bad. He underwent several surgeries and medical treatments in the recent past. Due to his bad health, he only made feeble public appearances lately.
The latest media reports have claimed that he had successfully recovered from the unpleasant health conduction he fell into.
Anyway, Today, PM Modi, who will visit the state to attend the platinum jubilee function of a vernacular daily based in Tamil Nadu, will meet the DMK leader at the latter’s residence situated in Gopalapuram.
The reports regarding the unusual meeting have been initially publicised by the BJP social media team. Immediately after that, the DMK sources have confirmed the reports.
At this moment, it is not clear whether this visit will make any major political developments in the state or not.
The PM will also participate in a private function in this visit: the marriage function of a PMO official’s daughter.
