The chairman of the Mahindra Group responded to a question about making cheap cars. The man responded to Mahindra’s post congratulating India on their Thomas Cup victory.
“Hey, can you make Mahindra cars for 10k?” a Twitter user named Raj Srivastava replied as the business tycoon shared a valuable lesson learned from Kidambi Srikanth about the team experience. While most people would dismiss such a casual remark, Mahindra Group Chairman Mahindra, 67, responded with a witty retort. “We’ve done even better; made one for under 1.5K,” the businessman wrote alongside a photo of a miniature red car modelled after Thar.
Netizens were split on whether his response was “savage,” or whether it was a brilliant marketing strategy, with some remarking on how closely the miniature model resembles the actual cars. While some people expressed an interest in ordering the miniature cars for themselves, others expressed how much their children would enjoy them.
