Amman temple in Coimbatore decorated with 2,000 kg of fruits
Mahali Amman Temple in Coimbatore city yesterday was decorated by 2,000 kilograms of fruits by the devotees.
There were 26 varieties of fruits which includes pineapple. bananas, pears, mango and much more. They were hanged and held to the walls and adored to the idol in the temple as garlands.
The month of Aadi is considered very auspicious for Hindus. The fruits were distributed among devotees and served people in the city after prayers.
