Art of defending body using homely food items


As the scientists repeatedly tell us that day by day the number of drug-resistant diseases and the intensity of the drug-resistant diseases are rampantly increasing, there is an urgent need to find ways to increase the strength of our immune system in order to prevent our body from these disastrous infections.

The fact is that we can easily strengthen our immune system using some easily accessible homely food items.

Broth-based soups, particularly the chicken soup, have the quality to stimulate our immune system. It also fights inflammation in the throat area.

Citrus fruits such as the orange and lemon have the ability to boost our immune system and these fruits are the rich source of vitamins and minerals.

The habit of using turmeric powder in the food items will help to considerably reduce the presence of disease-causing matters in the food items.

Sometimes, even, spicy food items and hot beverages may also help to achieve good health.
