Akshay Kumar’s new venture ‘Bell Bottom’ release date announced; Invites audiences to open theaters

Bollywood announces first big release as many states decide to open movie theaters after Covid second wave. ‘Bell Bottom’ starring Akshay Kumar and directed by Ranjith M Tiwari has been announced for a theatrical release. The movie will reach the audience on August 19.

Bell Bottom is a spy thriller set in the 1980s. The film stars Vani Kapoor in the lead role and Huma Qureshi and Lara Dutta in the other two lead roles. Also starring Denzil Smith, Aniruddha Dave, Adil Hussain and Thalaivasal Vijay. Written by Azeem Arora and Parvez

An Akshay Kumar movie has been released in theaters for over a year and a half. Akshay Kumar’s previous comedy-drama ‘Good News’ was released for Christmas 2019 under the direction of Raj Mehta. The horror comedy ‘Lakshmi’, directed by Raghava Lawrence and starring Akshay, was slated for a theatrical release, but due to Covid it had to release it in OTT platform due to adverse conditions.
