“A Dream Come True”: Indian-Origin Children Meet Prime Minister Modi During His Visit to Germany

It was a dream come true for two small Indian-origin children in Germany, who were praised by Prime Minister Narendra Modi after their talent won his heart.
PM Modi was greeted warmly by the Indian diaspora in Berlin when he arrived on the first leg of his three-nation European tour.
Ashutosh and Manya Mishra were among the children who waited for the Prime Minister at Hotel Adlon Kempinski with the community’s elders.
Prime Minister Modi enjoyed hearing Ashutosh sing a patriotic song for him.
“Shabash (well done),” PM Modi said, praising the boy’s talent. Manya, a young girl, presented the Prime Minister with his portrait. He took a photo with Manya and also autographed her portrait.
“I made it for him… with my mother’s help,” Manya, a Berlin student, explained.
“Meeting Prime Minister Modi was a fantastic experience. He is a hero of mine. He signed my painting of him and addressed me as ‘Shabash.’ “she stated Manya described her meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi as “a dream come true.”
