50 Telangana Students Fall Sick Due To Food Poisoning At Government School
According to RDO, Narayankhed, around 50 pupils at the public Kasturba school contracted food illness and were treated at a hospital in Telangana’s Sanga Reddy district.
RDO, Narayankhed, Ambadas Rajeshwar claims “Students at the public Kasturba Girls Hostel became ill today. They had Poha for breakfast each morning, and some students discovered worms in it “.
He added that afterwards, about 50 pupils had nausea, vomiting, giddiness, and stomach discomfort and were promptly transferred to Narayankhed Government Hospital for treatment.
“Students are undergoing treatment and are out of danger. An investigation will be launched into the exact cause of the incident,” said RDO, Narayankhed, Ambadas Rajeshwar.
He further added, “We will take action if any staff member is found guilty and will make sure that this type of incident will not recur. Local MLA and district Collector are monitoring the situation closely.”
