YSR Congress Supremo attacked

The top leader of YSR Congress, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, has been stabbed on his shoulder by a waiter. The incident has occurred when he has been inside the Visakhapatnam International Airport. The identity of the waiter has not been released yet.

It is the timely interference of those YSR Congress members who have been with their leader at the time of the incident that a huge attack has been averted.

The YSR Congress members have neutralised the attacker and handed him to the police. The police officials have not yet disclosed why the man has conducted such a brutal act.

At present, he is being questioned by the police. The police will enquire the background of the attacker, the motive of the attack and how he has managed to bring a knife near the YSR Congress leader without being noticed by any of the leader’s security personals.

Anyway, Mr Reddy, who have been initially given treatment at the airport, has flew to Hyderabad, breaking the Praja Sankalpa Yatra, which have been being led by him for last few days. At this moment, it is not clear when he will resume his march.

The Andhra Pradesh government has condemned the attack and asserted that they would conduct through investigation into the matter.
