V.P. Nandakumar Appointed as Chairman of FICCI Kerala State Council
V.P. Nandakumar, the Managing Director and CEO of Manappuram Finance Limited, has been appointed as the new Chairman of the FICCI Kerala State Council. His appointment was announced during the council’s annual meeting held at Le Méridien Hotel in Kochi.
The Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) is one of India’s leading business organizations, representing various industries and sectors. Founded in 1927 under the guidance of Mahatma Gandhi, FICCI was established by prominent industrialists G.D. Birla and Purshottamdas Thakurdas.
FICCI plays a crucial role in promoting industrial development, creating business networks, and shaping policy recommendations. The organization indirectly represents over 2.5 lakh companies through private and public sector institutions and regional chambers of commerce.
