Rishabh Pant: Indian cricketer injured in car accident
Rishabh Pant, an Indian cricketer, was injured in a car accident in the northern Indian state of Uttarakhand. According to India’s cricket board, the batsman has two wounds on his forehead, a ligament tear in his right knee, and other injuries.
Pant, who is still in the hospital, was driving alone when the collision occurred, according to authorities. Several Indian and international cricketers have sent their best wishes for the 25-year-quick old’s recovery. According to NDTV, Pant was driving his Mercedes when it collided with a highway divider. According to police, he dozed asleep and lost control of the car.
The cricketer was able to escape the van before it took fire by breaking a window. Pant also suffered injuries to his right wrist, ankle, and toe, as well as abrasions on his back, according to the Board of Control for Cricket in India. His condition is now stable.
The BCCI stated that they were in “continuous contact” with Rishabh’s family and would ensure that he received the finest care possible. Several current and former cricketers have wished Pant a swift recovery, including Sachin Tendulkar, Shubman Gill, Jhulan Goswami, and Ricky Ponting.
