UP Man Carries Mother To Hospital In A Cart, She Dies On The Way

When he couldn’t get an ambulance on Wednesday, a man dragged his ailing mother on a handcart over four kilometres to a community health centre here. She passed away en route.

A resident of Jalalabad town named Dinesh (45) told reporters that his mother Bina Devi (65), who is 65 years old, suddenly began experiencing severe stomach ache early in the morning. He stated that his father tried to call an ambulance, but when none arrived for a while, he chose to push his mother in a handcart to the neighbourhood Community Health Centre (CHC).

He asserted that after arriving at the CHC, a doctor examined his mother and pronounced her dead.

Dinesh took his mother for treatment on a handcart, according to Dr. Amit Yadav, superintendent of the Jalalabad Community Health Center, who spoke to PTI.

As soon as he received the information, he claimed, he went to evaluate the patient, but the patient had passed away the route.

P K Verma, the chief medical officer (CMO) for Shahjahanpur, stated that although he was not aware of the incidence, he would look into it.
