Centre Grants ‘Z’ Security To Industrialist Gautam Adani

According to official sources, the central government has provided CRPF commandos with a “Z” category VIP security cover for billionaire entrepreneur and Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani.

The all-India coverage, they claimed, will be provided on a “payment basis” and is anticipated to cost between 15-20 lakh per month. According to them, Mr. Adani, 60, was given security protection under the central list based on a report on threat perception created by central security services.

According to them, the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) VIP security wing has been requested by the Union Home Ministry to take over the assignment and a team is currently with the protectee.

The Union government presented a “Z+” category cover of CRPF commandos to RIL Chairman Mukesh Ambani in 2013, while his wife Neeta Ambani received a lower category cover a few years later.
