Naalu Pennungal is a 2007 Malayalam film produced and directed by Adoor Gopalakrishnan based on four short stories written by Thakazhi Sivasankara Pillai. An anthology of stories of a sex worker whose marriage is not accepted legally, a virgin woman who is abandoned by her husband, a childless housewife and a spinster accused of having an affair.
