Tamil Nadu’s Class XII results have flooded Twitter with memes

The results for the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC-Class XII) and Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC-Class X) examinations were released by the Tamil Nadu Directorate of Government Examinations (TNDGE) on Monday. Following the announcement of the results, many students used social media to express their feelings by posting humorous memes and jokes.

This year’s pass percentage for Class XII is 93.76 percent, which is higher than last year’s 92.3 percent. However, the pass rate for Class X fell to 90.07 percent, down from 95.2 percent last year. In both the Class X and XII board examinations, girls outperformed boys in terms of pass percentage.

Board exams are regarded key milestones in a student’s life in India. This frequently puts kids under undue stress. Many celebrities, such as Vir Das, and government officials, such as IAS officer Nitin Sangwan, have released photos of their school board mark sheets with below-average grades in recent years to emphasise that academic excellence is not a requirement for a successful life.

The Uttar Pradesh State Board of High School and Intermediate announced the Class XII results on Saturday. Kerala’s Department of Higher Secondary Education (DHSE) has stated that its Class XII results will be announced at 11 a.m. on Tuesday.
