Sonam Kapoor, Anand Ahuja welcome baby boy: ‘Our lives are forever changed’
On Saturday, Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja welcomed a baby boy. Sonam Kapoor announced the exciting news of her baby’s birth on Instagram by posting a photo along with the song Three Little Birds by Bob Marley and a blue heart emoji.
In their statement, Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja said: “On 20.08.2022, we welcomed our beautiful baby boy with bowed heads and hearts. Thank you to all of the doctors, nurses, friends and family who have supported us on this journey. It’s only the beginning but we know our lives are forever changed. – Sonam and Anand.”
Sonam announced her pregnancy with stunning pictures and a caption that read: “Four hands. To raise you the very best we can. Two hearts. That will beat in unison with yours, every step of the way. One family. Who will shower you with love and support. We can’t wait to welcome you.”
After dating for a few years, Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja were united in marriage in Mumbai in May 2018. A star-studded wedding and reception were held for them. Running both the sneaker store VegNonVeg and the apparel line Bhane is Anand Ahuja.
Sonam Kapoor appeared in a cameo in the Netflix thriller AK vs AK, which also stars her father Anil Kapoor and director Anurag Kashyap. Her most recent appearance was in the 2019 movie The Zoya Factor, which also starred Angad Bedi and Dulquer Salmaan. The actress’s upcoming feature appearance is in Blind, directed by Shome Makhija.
