Residents of a Madhya Pradesh Colony were stunned by a surprise visitor

In Madhya Pradesh, a crocodile that had wandered into a residential neighbourhood after a downpour was saved and released into a neighbouring lake.

After a nullah flooded and caused waterlogging in the neighbourhood, images have previously shown the crocodile slithering into the colony in the Shivpuri district. The crocodile could be seen in a little lane in another video. The reptile is seen moving from door to door while foresters try to capture him. Residents of the neighbourhood are seen recording the crocodile’s movements on their phones as they watch in shock at the unexpected guest.

On Sunday, the reptile was initially seen near a bus stop, and the authorities were alerted, according to police officer Ajay Bhargava. After an hour of work, it was finally captured by a rescue team from Madhav National Park. Later, the eight-foot crocodile was set free at the national park’s Sankhya Sagar Lake.

Heavy rain is falling in a few Madhya Pradesh districts. For the upcoming 24 hours, a warning has been issued for the divisions of Jabalpur, Bhopal, and Narmadapuram.

Bhopal and Narmadapuram schools have both announced holidays. Thirteen of the Bargi Dam’s twenty-one gates have been opened in Jabalpur. Six of the eight gates in Barna Dam are open.
