Ravindra Jadeja Deletes Posts Related To Chennai Super Kings, Sparks Rumours Of Rift: Report

The removal of all posts on the team’s 2021 and 2022 seasons from former Chennai Super Kings (CSK) captain Ravindra Jadeja’s official Instagram account is a sign that things are not going well between the all-rounder and the IPL club. MS Dhoni gave up his position as CSK captain prior to the IPL 2022 season, while Jadeja was named captain of the team earlier this year. But the all-around player resigned midway through the 2022 campaign because serving as captain was hurting his personal performance.

MS Dhoni regained control of the team, and Jadeja was later forced to withdraw from the IPL due to a rib ailment. He later made a comeback during the England tour. The all-rounder finished the disappointing IPL season with the Chennai franchise a little more than two months ago.

Fans quickly noticed on social media that Jadeja had deleted images related to the CSK’s IPL 2021 and 2022 campaigns from his Instagram profile.

“Jadeja didn’t wish Dhoni on his birthday this year. (He does it every year). He has also deleted all his CSK-related posts on Instagram. Something is definitely not right,” wrote a fan.

“Ravindra Jadeja will leave CSK maybe for the 2023 season. Deleted almost every post related to CSK. Also listened about Deepak Chahar and Ambati Rayudu but not confirmed for these two. Hard day for CSK fan to accept,” tweeted another user.

Jadeja played outstandingly against England in his comeback match despite having a poor 2022 IPL season.

In the fifth Test against England that was postponed, which was played between July 1 and July 5, he hit a stunning century at Edgbaston.
