Priyanka Chopra, Nick Jonas share first photo of daughter, welcome her home: ‘After 100 plus days in NICU, our little girl…’
On Mother’s Day, global icon Priyanka Chopra shared the first photo of her daughter Malti Marie Chopra Jonas with her newborn and her partner, American singing sensation Nick Jonas.
The photo was accompanied by a lengthy note in which the actress explained how her daughter was born prematurely and had to spend 100 days in the NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit) under observation.”On this Mother’s Day, we can’t help but reflect on these last few months and the rollercoaster we’ve been on, which we now know, so many people have also experienced,” Priyanka wrote, thanking the caregivers, mothers, and Nick. Our little girl is finally home after more than 100 days in the NICU. While ours was a difficult few months, it became abundantly clear in retrospect how precious and perfect each moment is.We are overjoyed that our little girl has returned home, and we want to express our gratitude to every doctor, nurse, and specialist at Rady Children’s La Jolla and Cedar Sinai, Los Angeles, who helped us along the way. Our next chapter is about to begin, and our baby is a true badass. Let’s get this party started, MM! Mommy and Daddy are proud of you.”
She also mentioned who snapped the adorable photo of the couple looking happy and in love with their child. “To all the mothers and caregivers in my life and around the world, Happy Mother’s Day!” You make it appear so simple. Nick also posted the same photo on social media with a nearly identical caption, but he ended his sweet message by thanking his wife, Priyanka Chopra.
