NCP activists attack BJP spokesperson Vinayak Ambekar in Maharashtra. According to the reports he was harassed for posting comments critical of NCP party president and senior leader Sharad Pawar. Maharashtra BJP president Chandrakant Patil has released a video of NCP activists slapping Vinayak on the face.
The video shows some people arguing with Vinayak and one person slapping him in the face. Meanwhile, Marathi actress Ketaki Chithale was arrested for posting on Facebook criticizing senior NCP leader Sharad Pawar. Ketaki was sharing a post on social media by another saying, “Pawar is against Hindus and hell is waiting.” Netke, a dreamer, had lodged a complaint with the police against this.
The actress was arrested from Navi Mumbai yesterday on the basis of a case registered at the Kalwa station in Thane. A court in Thane remanded Ketaki in police custody till May 18. Ketaki’s Facebook post has drawn a lot of criticism.
NCP workers protest in front of the star’s house. Yesterday, NCP women activists hurled eggs and ink at the actress in front of the Kalamboli police station in NaviMumbai. The police worked hard to stop the attack. A pharmacy student has been arrested in Nashik in connection with a Facebook post against Pawar.
