Patidar leader to be released tomorrow, may organise rallies across Gujarat

Hardik Patel, a prominent ‘Patidar reservation agitation’ leader, who was arrested on sedition charges, is expected to be released on July 15.As per report, the Patidar Anamat Andolan Samathi leader has spent nearly nine months in the Lajpore prison at Surat.Holding that it is granting bail to the Patidar agitation leader with immediate effect, recently the Gujarat High Court had insisted Hardik must stay outside the state for at least six months.It further directed that he must go on exile within forty-eight hours of his release from the Lajpore prison.As per the latest information released by the Patidar agitation leaders, Hardik will appear in the Ahmedabad sessions court on July 16.

Later, he, along with his followers and co-activists, visit several religious centres across the state, the report added. He is likely to hold a rally at Botad town on the same day.If he gets permission from the government officials, he will make his first public appearance at Surat on July 15 itself.The details on where he would stay in his exile days were not available at this movement.A Patidar leader, when asked about the same, reportedly opined that it is up to Hardik to decide on where to spend his exile days.Anyway, Hardik will visit his hometown, Viramgam, before leaving the state. It is learned that the Patidar community members are planning to organise several rallies and demonstrations across the state on his releasing day.Moreover, tens of thousands of people are expected to gather outside the jail premises on the releasing day to welcome their dearest leader.
