“Path Is Going To Be Challenging…”: Sachin Tendulkar To Son Arjun On His Future In Cricket

Sachin Tendulkar’s son Arjun warmed the benches for 28 Indian Premier League (IPL) matches over two seasons, and the batting legend has warned the budding all-rounder that the road ahead will be difficult and that he must work hard. The cricket legend, who has been linked to the Mumbai Indians, has also stated that he does not interfere with team selections. Arjun, a left-arm pacer and left-handed batter, was signed by Mumbai Indians, the five-time IPL champions, but he did not appear in a single game during the lucrative league’s two seasons.

“This is a different type of query. It doesn’t matter what I’m thinking or feeling. The season has come to an end “When asked if he would have liked to see Arjun play this year, Tendulkar said on the show ‘SachInsight.’

“And my conversation with Arjun has always been that the path will be difficult and challenging. You began playing cricket because you adore the game; keep doing so, keep working hard, and the results will come “Tendulkar, who holds numerous world records, added his two cents.

Tendulkar, a 200-Test veteran, says he defers to team management when it comes to selection.

“And, if we’re talking about selection, I’ve never participated in it. I delegate all of these responsibilities to the (team) leadership because that is how I have always operated “Tendulkar was agitated.

Arjun, who is 22 years old, has only appeared in two T20 games for his domestic team Mumbai and in the ‘T20 Mumbai’ league.
