Parliament votes for the house head today
Parliament votes for the presidential post today. With parliaments monsoon session kicking off today there would be wide range of discussion starting from the high constitutional office to nation wide problems that has been disturbed the peace in the society in a span of a year. The session would be chaired by the present President Pranab Mukherjee who would be replaced by the candidate selected by the parliamentarians. Along with this, parliament would also be voting for the post of President which has been chaired by Hamad Ansari for over a decade now. The new president would be sworn in by July 25th followed by Vice President on August 11th.
The other issues that would be discussed in the parliament would range from India – China dispute over the Sikkim-Bhutan-Tibet border, the Kashmiri crisis, beef ban, Darjeeling ferment and rise in agitation among the farmers.
