Onion Pakoda
Onion – 2 big (thinly sliced)
Gram flour – 1 cup
Ginger – 1 teaspoon – (grated)
Rice flour – ¼ cup
Curry leaves – 7 (chopped)
Oil as required
Salt to taste
Chilli powder – ½ teaspoon
Baking soda – a pinch
Water – as required
Take onion in a large bowl. Combine rice flour, gram flour, curry leaves, chilli powder, ginger, baking soda and salt.
Mix it well and keep aside for 10 minutes.
Add required water into the mixture.mix them well
Add oil in a pan and heat deep frying it. Take a small portion of the mixture and drop into the oil and fry they turn golden brown from both sides. Repeat the same with the rest of batter.
Drain it and serve them hot.
