No more vacancies; Covid has eased restrictions on international air travel

The Central Government has relaxed the Covid restrictions on International Flights. Removed the requirement for flight attendants to wear a PPE kit. The order was issued by the Airports Authority of India. The physical examination at the airport will resume. Masks should continue to be worn at airports and on flights. The Airport Authority also said that vacancies on international flights have been avoided to maintain social distance.

In the last 24 hours, 1,660 new Covid cases were reported. With this, the total number of Covid cases in the country is 4,30,18,032, according to official figures from the Union Health Department. Covid added 4,100 deaths. This brings the total number of Covid deaths in the country to 5,20,855. Covid mortality rate is 1.21%. With Maharashtra and Kerala adding old trees to the Covid list, the Covid death toll has risen again.

According to the Central Health Department, 2349 people have been cured. At present, it is estimated that 16741 people in the country are being treated for Covid positive. The daily test positivity rate is 0.25%. The weekly rate is now 0.29 percent. The Ministry of Health said that 1,82,87,68,476 doses of the vaccine were distributed.
