Due to the rapid spread of coronavirus many Bollywood celebrities came out and extended their support to the people affected by the pandemic, the contribution of Akshay Kumar and Sonu Sood has been exceptional. Fans have been heaping praise on the actors.
On Twitter, Twitterati were demanding Bharat Ratna for Akshay and Sonu for their work and contribution during the COVID 19 pandemic were going trending. While it is now that people started hailing Sonu after his recent works for the migrants, people remember Akshay for his generous contribution to the PM care fund and his contributions even before that.
Sonu Sood gained limelight after the actor took the initiative to send helpless and poor migrants back to their hometown by arranging transport and other facilities for them. The actor also opened the doors of his hotel in Mumbai for the Police and other people who are fighting the pandemic at the forefront.
Akshay Kumar was amongst the first actors in Bollywood who stunned one and all with his generous contribution of Rs 25 crore to the PM care fund set up for the coronavirus pandemic. Even before this, the actor is known for his donations during various social and national causes like for the Pulwama martyrs, Assam and Chennai floods, and others.
