Inside their Mannat home, Shah Rukh Khan reveals his wife Gauri Khan’s rules: ‘You are not permitted to disrupt….’
On Tuesday, Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan visited New Delhi as the brand ambassador for an electronics company. The actor was dressed in a dark suit and a white shirt for the occasion. The actor looked dapper without his Pathaan beard and long hair. He won many hearts when he praised his wife, celebrity interior designer Gauri Khan, as “the lady of the house.” Gauri was described by Shah Rukh as a “wonderful designer.”
He also mentioned that there are certain Gauri rules that everyone must follow at their home, Mannat.SRK revealed at the event that Gauri forbids him or anyone else from “disrupting the design in the house.” “Most of the stuff that is bought for the house in my house is obviously bought by the lady of the house, my wife Gauri,” he explained. You are not permitted to disturb the house’s design because she is an excellent designer. But it’s one of the few things I’m allowed to do because there’s an understanding that I might be the house’s expert on technology.”
Shah Rukh Khan and his family, which includes wife Gauri Khan and children Suhana Khan, Aryan Khan, and Abram Khan, live in Mannat, a beautiful palatial residence in Mumbai’s Bandstand neighbourhood. Gauri recently changed the signature nameplate of their bungalow, which made the news. Fans of the actor frequently photograph themselves in front of the house. For tourists visiting the city of dreams, Mannat is one of the most sought after celebrity homes.
“Plus, the aesthetics…are so amazing,” he continued, “that nobody questions it whenever I go out and buy television and put it in any room or place I want, and this is God’s honest truth.”
This is one of the first times SRK has appeared in public since the Aryan Khan drug case controversy. To the music of Don, Shah Rukh entered the stage and even struck his signature pose. Several of the event’s videos have gone viral.
On the work front, SRK is gearing up for his big screen comeback with a number of projects in the works, including his first collaboration with filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani, Dunki. The film, which also stars Taapsee Pannu, began shooting last month, with the next schedule set to take place in Punjab. Pathaan is also in the works for Shah Rukh. Siddharth Anand directs the film, which also stars Deepika Padukone and John Abraham. On January 25, 2023, it will be released in theatres. He’ll also appear in Tamil filmmaker Atlee’s upcoming Hindi film.
