When speaking to a delegation of Bangladeshi youth who had visited her at Rashtrapati Bhavan, President Murmu stated, “Youth of Bangladesh have a past that is full of glory, and a future that is full of hopes.”

According to a release from Rashtrapati Bhavan, President Murmu stated that India is proud to have been Bangladesh’s ally and partner in the liberation war as well as continuing to travel beside Bangladesh on the path to progress.

The profound affinity between our two countries and our people is still inspired by this spirit, which must be preserved, it stated.

According to the president, every Indian holds a very unique place in their hearts and minds for Bangladesh.

“Deep cultural ties exist between our nations. We have a lot in common, including a love of literature, music, and the arts “declared President Murmu.

She claimed that India has always given its friendship with Bangladesh top importance and that we are still devoted to helping Bangladesh reach its full potential.

The president stated that “our close cooperation demonstrates the significance that both countries devote to this relationship.”

She recalled her recent visits in Delhi and London with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. According to the president, Bangladesh and India both have young populations.

President Murmu stated that a major portion of Bangladesh’s population is under 25 and that more than half of India’s population is youthful.

The young people of both nations, according to her, need to get involved in cutting-edge fields like renewable energy, start-ups, and technology-enabled services in finance, health, and education if they want to be the inventors, creators, builders, and leaders of the future.
