Humyn Labs Commits $20 Million to Scale Global Human Data Infrastructure for AI
Humyn Labs, an emerging player in artificial intelligence infrastructure, has announced a $20 million investment to expand its global data collection capabilities. The funding will support operations across India, Southeast Asia, Latin America, and West Asia, aimed at building high-quality human-centric datasets essential for training next-generation robots and voice-based AI systems. The company, co-founded by Manish Agarwal and Ishank Gupta, is focused on capturing real-world, first-person human interactions to develop context-aware AI models.
Humyn Labs is scaling its “egocentric, source-first” data collection approach, which records how humans see, move, and interact across environments such as homes, farms, and commercial spaces. These datasets are designed to help AI systems better understand real-world behavior and improve decision-making accuracy. The company is also expanding its voice data capabilities across 33 languages, dialects, and accents, ensuring that AI systems can interpret commands with cultural and contextual precision.
To further strengthen its ecosystem, Humyn Labs plans to launch Robotics Labs that will create advanced simulation environments integrating real-world data into AI training frameworks. Industry projections estimate the global AI training data market will reach $25 billion by 2030, with physical AI validation emerging as a key growth driver. With rising demand for human data infrastructure, Humyn Labs aims to position itself as a foundational enabler of future AI systems worldwide.
