“Heaven On Earth”: Railways Minister Shares Breathtaking Pictures Of Snow-Covered Station

Several images of an Indian Railways train travelling on a track blanketed in snow while surrounded by beautiful mountains have been published by Union Railways Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw. The minister made it into a quiz and gave users a tip while asking them to identify the location.

“Guess this station?” Mr Vaishnaw asked. Giving a hint, he added that the location is “heaven on Earth”.

The images, which were posted on Twitter, show a train travelling through a snow-covered terrain. Users were asked to estimate the location after the post quickly garnered popularity on the platform. According to several users, the location might be in Jammu & Kashmir.

“Awantipura Station of Banihal-Baramulla section,” a comment read.

Through its official Twitter account, the Ministry of Railways posted a video of a train going through the Baramulla-Banihal section of Jammu and Kashmir.

The tweet said, “A mesmerising sight of the train passing through the snow-covered Baramulla-Banihal section of Jammu & Kashmir.”

The ministry also posted a different video of the same train moving through the union territory’s snow-covered railroad tracks. The caption stated, “A beautiful vista of a train travelling through the snow-covered valley from Banihal to Badgam, Jammu & Kashmir.” The Railway Ministry posted numerous images of the Srinagar Railway Station on Twitter around this time last year. It revealed a station, railroad lines, and platform that were all completely covered in snow, creating an amazing image.
