Full Emergency Declared At Thiruvananthapuram International Airport
On Friday, a major emergency was declared at the local airport when a flight from Calicut to Dammam was diverted there due to a possible hydraulic issue.
According to reports at the airport, the flight arrived there about 12:15 PM.
According to the sources, the Air-India Express IX 385’s tail section, which was carrying 182 passengers, collided with the runway when it took off from Calicut International Airport in the morning.
According to the sources, the aircraft made a safe landing by discharging gasoline over the Arabian Sea before descending to the airport.
The airport management declared a full emergency.
