17-Year-Old NEET Aspirant Dies By Suicide In Rajasthan’s Kota: Police
According to authorities, a 17-year-old NEET applicant committed suicide in his dormitory room in Kota, Rajasthan.
Abhishek Yadav, a student from the Uttar Pradesh district of Badaun, has been identified as the victim, according to the police, who also noted that this is the fourth suicide among students in Kota this year.
According to authorities, the youngster had been residing in Kota for the previous two years and was attending a tutoring facility to prepare for the National Eligibility comp Entrance Test, or NEET.
According to authorities, the pupil had not been showing up to his coaching courses for a few days.
“In the suicide note recovered from his hostel room, the student apologised to his parents stating he was in trouble and was under study pressure,” Circle Inspector Ganga Sahay Sharma said.
After the autopsy this morning, the body was given to family members, and a case was filed in accordance with section 174 of the Criminal Procedure Code, he added.
Yet, the student’s father blamed the coaching centre for the student’s increasing study load.”Why such situations are emerging that students are committing suicides in Kota and why is system in place that mounts pressure on the students. The governments should take measures,” Aaram Singh, father of the student said.
