FISH CURRY

INGERDIENTS

Fish – ½ kg

Ginger – ¼ cup

Garlic – ¼ cup

Chilli powder – 2 tbs

Mustard – 1 tsp

Turmeric powder – ½ tsp

Fenugreek – 1 tsp

Cocum (kudampuli ) – 3 nos

Curry leaves – ¼ cup

Water – 2 cups

Salt to taste

Oil – ¼ cup

METHOD

In a thick bottom vessel , heat oil and fry fenugreek and mustard. Add chopped ginger and garlic and fry until golden brown. Now reduce the fire and add chilli powder and turmeric powder . mix it nicely until the colour changes . add water ,salt, cocum and curry leaves. allow to boil .when it starts boiling add fish pieces . in a slow fire allow the fish to cook and the gravy becomes thick.
