Filmfare Awards South 2022: “Humbled,” Writes Best Actor Allu Arjun On Pushpa’s 7 Wins
On October 2, 2022, the International Exhibition Center in Bengaluru hosted the Filmfare Awards South 2022 ceremony. It honoured the Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada film industries.
Allu Arjun’s Pushpa: The Rise took up the majority of the Telugu category honours during the awards ceremony. The actor was overjoyed to share the news and thanked everyone in a message on his Instagram account. His message said, “Clean sweep for Pushpa at Filmfare 2022. the best actor, the best director, the best music director, the best cinematography, the best male and female singers, and the best movie. Thank to everybody. Humbled.”
Allu Arjun’s followers flocked to the comment box as soon as he uploaded the post. “Congratulations, my favourite,” one person remarked, along with heart and fire emoticons.
The film, directed by Sukumar, also features Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil in significant parts. Along with posting photos to his Instagram stories, Allu Arjun also posted a photograph of his Pushpa squad holding their trophies. Allu Arjun is dapper in the photos wearing a black and gold suit.
The songs’ composer, Devi Sri Prasad, took home the prize for Best Music Album. Best Male Singer went to Sid Sriram for his performance of Srivalli, and Best Female went to Indravathi Chauhan for her performance of Oo Antava.
Allu Arjun’s subsequent appearance will be in Pushpa: The Rise, the follow-up. Pushpa 2 will have Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, and Fahadh Faasil reprising their previous roles. According to reports, the shooting will begin this month between October 20 and 30. A confrontation between Allu Arjun and Fahadh Faasil will serve as the basis for the sequel.
