Elon Musk’s attempts to take over Twitter mocked by Amul

Amul can be counted on to comment on current events all over the world. The dairy brand has always come up with concise and witty topical advertisements, whether it’s for celebrity weddings or international conflicts.

Amul has responded to billionaire Elon Musk’s attempts to own Twitter in its most recent topical advertisement. Musk, the CEO of Tesla and the founder of SpaceX, has expressed interest in purchasing the social media platform in recent weeks.

According to Bloomberg, Musk made an offer to buy Twitter for $43 billion earlier this week. So far, it appears that Twitter is resisting Musk’s attempts to take over the company, despite the fact that the billionaire owns a 9.2% passive stake in the company, making him the company’s largest individual shareholder.

Musk is seen holding a cage and encouraging Twitter’s bird mascot to enter it in the latest Amul commercial. “Elon flexes his Muskles?” and “Amul takes over bread daily” are the titles of the current advertisements. Musk is attempting to control Twitter by owning it, according to the advertisement.

Musk has previously stated that he would like to see the platform’s free speech mandate strengthened. According to the number of people who commented on the Amul advertisement arguing that Musk’s influence on Twitter will be good for free speech principles, his posturing appears to have found many takers.

“This is so wrong,” a Twitter user said, echoing this sentiment. It should be the other way around in the illustration. He’s liberating the stage.”
