Earthquake hits Arunachal Pradesh
The Indian state of Arunachal Pradesh, which is a mountainous state, has suffered a serious earthquake Today. The latest earthquake of 5.5-magnitude has hit the state, a day after three earthquakes jolted the state.
The states located close to Arunachal Pradesh, like Assam, has felt the impact of the latest quake, as well as those happened prior to this quake.
No casualties have been reported yet in connection with the incident. The earthquake has created serious damages in the region.
The hilly state of Arunachal Pradesh is highly vulnerable to earthquake. In the past, the state has experienced earthquake several times. It is its geography that makes the state highly susceptible to earthquake.
The rescue forces have been put on high alert. The occurrence of four earthquakes in a short interval of less than 24 hours has created panic in the region.
Experts say that there is nothing to worry.
