Dr. Ajit Ravi Pegasus Announces Changes to International Pageant Categories
Dr. Ajit Ravi Pegasus, Founder and Chairman of Pegasus Global Pvt Ltd, and owner of prestigious pageants such as Miss Glam World, Miss Glam Universe, Mrs Glam World, Mrs Glam Universe, Miss Asia, Miss Asia Global, Teen Glam World, and so on, has announced a significant update to the pageant structure. Dr. Ajit Ravi has announced that in international beauty pageants, while married and unmarried men compete under a single ‘Mr.’ title, having separate titles such as ‘Miss’ and ‘Mrs’ for women is discriminatory. He stated that at the Miss Glam Universe competition scheduled for November, both married and unmarried women will compete under the single ‘Miss’ title. The “Mrs” titles from the House of Pegasus will be removed from the international pageant lineup, marking a shift in focus for the global competitions.

In this new format, married women will now be eligible to compete in the ‘Miss’ categories. By eliminating the separate “Mrs” titles, the pageants aim to create a more inclusive platform where all women, regardless of their marital status, can participate under the ‘Miss’ category.
