‘D Gang’ threatens not to disclose sexual harassment; Mumbai woman against businessman

A 75-year-old businessman has raped a 35-year-old writer at a five-star hotel. The accused threatened them not to reveal the incident after the rape. The woman alleged that the accused had threatened her over her relationship with Dawood Ibrahim. Police have registered a case against the accused on the basis of the woman’s complaint. According to reports, the accused threatened the girl who was raped in the name of underworld hero Dawood Ibrahim and told her that he would kill her if she complained to the police.

The woman had lodged a complaint against the businessman at the Amboli police station in Mumbai. The investigation has been intensified as the businessman was called from the “D” group threatening not to file a complaint. The accused businessman took a loan of Rs 2 crore from the victim but did not repay it.

In addition, when the woman tried to speak out against the atrocities committed against her, the accused businessman and those associated with Dawood Ibrahim directly threatened to kill her if she told anyone about it. The investigation into the case has now been shifted from Amboli Police to MIDC Police. MIDC police are investigating the woman’s claim.
