CoviSelf: India’s First Self-Testing Kit to be Available Soon

CoviSelf which is the first self-testing home kit for Covid testing will be available in the market by the end of next week, as stated by the director of Pune’s MyLab Discovery Solutions Sujjet Jain.

This will be the first home kit that has got the approval of the Indian Council of Medical Research for home testing in the country. The kit will be available in more than 7 lakh pharmacies across India and will be also available for online purchases as well.

The concept of self-testing is not new as it has been already allowed by several countries. The kit is priced at INR 250 including taxes and will be coming with a detailed manual on how to conduct the test at home.
