Covid positive cases in Oman from 25 percent to one percent
Health Minister Dr. Ahmed Mohammed Al Saeed said that the number of Covid positive cases in Oman has dropped from 25 percent to one percent. He was speaking at a meeting of ambassadors, heads of embassies and international agencies affiliated with the Diplomatic Club.
Covid 19 situation in the country is getting better. Strict precautionary measures have been taken at the border checkpoints. Passengers are strictly checked. The Sultanate’s hand was transparent in dealing with the Covid cases. Speculations and false propaganda should be ignored. Some foreign media outlets are running such campaigns.
Vaccination is progressing well in the country. Thanks to the expatriates and citizens who took the vaccination seriously. Two and a half crore Covid tests have been conducted in the country so far. No Vovid patient was admitted to the ICU the previous day. The first dose of the vaccine was given to 75% of the target population. The second dose was given to 42 per cent of the patients, the health ministry said in a statement.
