COVID-19: Total case at Andra Pradesh raised to 44; 21 new cases reported

In the greatest flood in the quantity of COVID-19 cases in the State up until now, upwards of 21 individuals tested positive for coronavirus since Monday night, taking the absolute number of infectees in Andra Prades to 44.

Among the 21 new cases, 17 went to a strict gathering in Nizamuddin in New Delhi a week ago. Three of the patients are ladies, and one is a 10-year-old. Of the 44 cases revealed till Tuesday, 19 had gone to the social event in the national capital.

According to a clinical announcement gave by the government on Tuesday, eight patients are from Praksam area, five from Guntur, four from Visakhapatnam, two from Lepakshi in Anantapur region, and one each from Krishna and East Godavari areas. One of the 21 patients  was in nearby contact of an individual who came back from Delhi and tested positive. Both hail from Delhi. A 65-year-old infectee from East Godavari area as of late came back from Saudi Arabia.

A 10-year-old and a 34-year-elderly person from Lepkashi were in close contact with an individual who came back from Mecca and is presently in Karnataka. Authorities are currently following the individuals who interacted with the infectees. In the mean time, the organizations of Guntur, Prakasam, Krishna, East Godavari, Visakhapatnam and Anantapur locale have started regulation measures in the zones around the patients’ homes. Upwards of 256 examples were tried between 9 pm on Monday and Tuesday night. Of them, 235 returned negative.

Meanwhile, 291 individuals, incorporating the individuals who interacted with individuals who tried positive and the individuals who came back from the strict meet in Delhi, were admitted to detachment wards in Guntur, Prakasam, Nellore, Chittoor, Kadapa, Eluru, Kakinada, Visakhapatnam, Vizianagaram, and Srikakulam. In Eluru of West Godavari locale, six individuals who went to the holy gathering in Delhi were admitted to the Government General Hospital.
