Commonwealth Games 2022 Updates: Sable, Priyanka Win Silver In Athletics, 2 Boxers In Final
India has had a fantastic start to Day 9. Avinash Sable earned silver in the men’s 3000m steeplechase final, while Priyanka got silver in the 10,000m race walk final.
Amit Panghal (men’s flyweight) and Nitu Ghangas (women’s minimum weight) are Indian boxers who have advanced to the final. In addition to Nikhat Zareen, four more Indians will compete in the semifinals. The Indian contingent might anticipate more medals on Day 9 after the wrestlers stole the show with three gold medals on Day 8.
Vinesh Phogat and Ravi Kumar will compete in wrestling.
