Celebrities lament the loss of Assamese actor Kishor Das after his death following a battle with cancer

On Saturday, well-known Assamese actor Kishor Das passed away. For almost a year, the actor struggled with cancer. The 30-year-old passed away in a hospital in Chennai where he had been receiving care since March of this year. He also tested positive for Covid-19, according to reports.

Kishor Das was well-known for his work on regional networks located in Guwahati television programmes like Bidhata, Bandhun, and Nedekha fagun. The late actor’s final film appearance was in Dada Tumi Dusto Bor, an Assamese film.His followers and comrades in the business lamented his passing as soon as the news was spread. Rest in peace, the actor Barsha Rani Bishaya wrote. Meghranjani Medhi shared a picture of the actor with a caption that read, “Gone too soon brother.” She also mentioned that Kishor was “an excellent actor from our fraternity who fought till his last breath.” She also wrote a message for the actor, which read, “You will be one of the brightest star ⭐ in the sky. We all will miss you.”

Atul Bora, a politician from Assam, expressed his “great sadness” over Kishor Das’ passing. “Deeply saddened by the premature death of well-known actor Kishor Das. While he was receiving treatment in Guwahati, I went to see him. Never imagined he would leave us so quickly. I ask God to grant him eternal rest, and I send my sympathies to the grieving family and friends,” he tweeted. The bereaved family received the sincere condolences of politician Ajanta Neog. “Deeply saddened to learn about the passing of Kishor Das, an acclaimed Assamese actor.The premature death of the talented actor is a significant loss for the cultural scene. I send my sincere sympathies to his grieving family and supporters. He passed away, may his soul rest in peace, she wrote on Twitter.

The last time we saw Kishor Das was in the romantic comedy Dada Tumi Dusto Bor.
