Canadian PM set to meet PM Modi today
Eliminating all speculations and uncertainties, the Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, has welcomed the Canadian Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau, and his family, comprising of his wife and three children, who are on a visit to the world’s largest democratic country, at the Rashtrapathi Bhavan Today.
Earlier, there were reports that the Canadian leader was not given a kind of welcome such a reputed global leader normally deserves.
Many opined that it was the Canadian government’s close relation with the pro-Khalistan leaders, with whom India is not in a good relation, prevented the Indian government from offering a grand welcome.
The Canadian authorities move to invite Khalistan separatist leaders to the function organised for their PM in Mumbai and Delhi also triggered serious speculations about the way the Delhi-Ottawa relation moves forward.
Now, all these uncertainties have been eliminated. The tweet updated by the Indian PM has played a significant role in eliminating the uncertainties and speculations.
In the tweet, the PM Modi has gratefully recounted the meeting he done with the Canadian PM and his family when he visited Canada.
He has even shared a picture taken during his Canadian visit with the Canadian Prime Minister.
He further, in the tweet, expressed his happiness and enthusiasm about the scheduled meeting with the Canadian PM and his family.
Filing hopes into the optimistic hearts of all Indians who expect a strong momentum in the Indo-Canadian relation, the PM has appreciated his Canadian counterpart’s deep commitment to the bilateral ties.
