BS Yeddyurappa rejects resignation news: Met Modi, Amit Shah, Nadda

BS Yeddyurappa rejects Karnataka Chief Minister’s resignation reports. His response came after a meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah in New Delhi. Son B.Y. Yeddyurappa met Modi and Amit Shah on a special flight with Vijayendra to Delhi.

The Karnataka Chief Minister said that he had met the Prime Minister to ask him to sanction more development projects for the state. After the meeting, Yeddyurappa, who is staying in Delhi, also met BJP president JP Nadda. Yeddyurappa said he had made initial talks to prepare the party for the next elections by sharing photos of the talks with Nadda.

The Karnataka BJP has been in turmoil for some time now. The Opposition has been alleging that Yeddyurappa’s rule is a failure and that his son BY Vijayendra is in power ahead of the Chief Minister. Last month, National General Secretary Arun Singh visited Karnataka and held direct talks with the leaders. Arun Singh had held direct talks with leaders, including those who had come out publicly against Yeddyurappa.
