Bhagwant Mann’s Low-Key Wedding Today; Arvind Kejriwal, Family Arrive
Today is Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann’s wedding day, and guests have begun to gather for the private ceremony at his Chandigarh house.
Arvind Kejriwal, the leader of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), and Raghav Chaddha are among the attendees at the low-key nuptials.
“He is embarking on a new journey today. I wish him a happy married life,” Mr Kejriwal told news agency ANI. Bhagwant Mann, 48, is getting married to Gurpreet Kaur, a doctor he has known through family relations for a few years. He reportedly received assistance from Gurpreet Kaur, 32, during his Punjab election campaign.

The former stand-up comedian has two children from a previous marriage and was divorced six years ago. The mother of his children resides in the US. On March 16, they attended Mr. Mann’s swearing-in ceremony.
Karahi Paneer, Tandoori Kulche, Dal Makhani, Navratan Biryani, Mausami Subzian, Apricot Stuffed Kofta, Lasagna Siciliano, and Burrani Raita are among the Indian and Italian dishes on the wedding menu, according to ANI.
The exquisite spread also includes Fresh Fruit Triffle, Moong Dal Halwa, Shahi Tukda, Angoori Rasmalai, and Dry Fruit Rabari.
According to sources, nobody outside of Arvind Kejriwal’s family and Raghav Chaddha has been invited.
