Anand Mahindra Posts Image Of “New Technology” For Drying Clothes, Internet In Splits

Anand Mahindra, an industrialist, is a frequent user of social media and routinely shares intriguing posts that catch the attention of online users. His most recent post, which demonstrates the “latest technology” used to dry garments, is also drawing attention from social media users.

Two women are seen observing clothing drying on a rope in the traditional manner in a tweet and caricature posted by Mr. Mahindra on Twitter on Friday. One of the women remarks, “It dries the washing using the latest technology – a combination of solar and wind power.”

“Sometimes, the ‘latest’ technology is really about returning back to the basics,” he remarked in a comment after sharing his post.

More than 9,000 people have liked and shared the post. It is evident that many individuals found the post to be relevant to them.”Sir, the so-called technology made us to forget our own traditional ways, which is simple and real hygienic way to dry clothes,” wrote a user in the comment box.

Another user remarked, “All technologies are guided by fundamental foundations, which never fail, these are the laws of nature.

He shared a meme about 10 Downing Street, the official residence of the British Prime Minister, in a subsequent post that focused on the continuing political turmoil in the United Kingdom.

The image shows the exterior of the house, which is decorated with dried mango leaves and a Swastika sign (as a mark of celebration).

The picture’s caption read: “What lies ahead for 10 Downing Street? Now, Desi humour has been infused with the renowned British humour.”

On Twitter, the image has earned more than 12,000 likes since it was posted on Tuesday.
