Aiswarya Rai and Ashutosh Rana’s photo from the shelved film Hum Panchhi Ek Daal Ke has gone viral

On social media, a photo of Aishwarya Rai from her 1996 film Hum Panchhi Ek Daal Ke is going viral. Shashilal K Nair directed the film, which also starred Suniel Shetty and Ashutosh Rana.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Ashutosh Rana are featured in the viral photo shared by Bollywood Direct on Instagram. Aishwarya Rai looks terrified in the photo as she confronts Ashutosh Rana’s half-man, half-animal avatar. When the photo was shared online, many internet users refused to believe it was Ashutosh. “I thought it was Feroz Khan,” one Instagram user wrote. “Raghu from Rowdies,” wrote another user.

Hum Panchhi Ek Daal Ke was shelved after director Shashilal K Nair, who has directed films such as Parivaar (1987) and One 2 ka 4 (2001), left the project in the middle of production. Lateef Binny took over as director after Shashilal, but the film was never completed.

Aishwarya Rai had a great time working on the film while it was being shot. “Suniel is like one of the kids,” she said in an interview with Sify.com. He’s a naughty boy. We’re constantly at odds on screen, and we’re also constantly ribbing each other off it. Shashi is also a baby and very laid-back. He’s not a serious individual. When these two are around, work becomes a picnic.”Ashutosh Rana will next be seen in Prithviraj, a film starring Akshay Kumar. Shamshera, directed by Karan Malhotra, is also in the works.
