After Lalit Modi makes relationship with actress Sushmita Sen on social media official, Sushitam Sen’s brother says “pleasantly surprised”
On Thursday night, Lalit Modi, the first chairman of the Indian Premier League, made his relationship with actress Sushmita Sen public on social media. On Twitter and Instagram, he shared a collection of photos with the former beauty queen. In one of his tweets, he referred to Sushmita Sen as his “better half,” but afterwards made it clear that they aren’t wed and are “just dating.”
Rajeev Sen, Sushmita Sen’s brother, stated in a conversation with India Today that “I’ve also been pleasantly surprised. I’ll bring up this subject with my sister.”
“Just back in London after a whirling global tour #maldives #sardinia with the families – not to mention my #betterhalf @sushmitasen47 – a new beginning a new life finally. Over the moon (sic),” Lalit Modi said in a tweet. He later clarified that they are “not married.”
Sushmita Sen revealed the breakup of her relationship with model boyfriend Rohman in an Instagram post last year.”We began as friends, we remain friends! The relationship was long over… The love remains,” she wrote. She accompanied the post with the hashtags #nomorespeculations.
In 1994, Sushmita Sen was crowned Miss Universe. Dastak, a 1996 Bollywood film, marked her screen debut. In movies like Biwi No 1, Do Knot Disturb, Main Hoon Na, Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya, Tumko Na Bhool Paayenge, and No Problem, she has appeared. She returned to acting with the International Emmy-nominated series Aarya, for which she also starred in the second season.
Daughters Renee and Alisah are the only children Sushmita Sen has; Renee was adopted in 2000, while Alisah was added to the family in 2010. With a short film, Renee made her acting debut.
